Residents at The Denby were thrilled to join in with the annual village scarecrow festival, and this year’s event was even more special as the trail came straight to the front door.
Organised by the Denby Dale District Lions, residents and staff were pleased to host part of the scarecrow festival and organised stalls with fun and games for the community that visited.
The Denby’s scarecrow, named Maggie Magee, was on show for all to see and was made by everyone at The Denby.
Holly Smedley, care centre manager, said: “Our residents really enjoyed joining the community for all the fun of the scarecrow festival.
“It’s always nice to welcome guests to our home and this was a great way for residents to be really involved in a popular community event.”
